If all of you jumped off a bridge, I wouldn't have anyone to play with anyway. SO:

If you read this; if your eyes are glazing over as we speak, even if you have no idea who I am, please post a comment with a memory of me. It can be anything you want, good or bad. I promise not to whinge about it later. Not where anyone can see me, anyway.

Then you can post this in your blog and find out what people remember about you.

Hah! I remember when we were freshmen, very newly friends - and rivals in love (or something), under the spell of Lisa M.

Down in the laundry room, clandestinely competitive as we folded her laundry for her while she slept comfortably elsewhere. At some point we met one another's gaze and asked, in effect, "what the HELL are we doing? How did we get conned into doing this girl's laundry for her?"

It was, I think, one of those moments that cemented our friendship, albeit in a surreal way.

Wow. It's been a long time since I thought about that one. And I still don't know quite how we ended up doing her laundry.

Adding you both to the household. How I miss you both. Now on to finding more starches that she will eat. The cookbooks are One Potato Two Potato, and Great American Side Dishs From Americas Test Kitchens; those should help.
with love, Colleen

Just one?

How's about chasing that spotlight half way accross Portland, past the treadmill for skiers to that little Masonic hall. You make a good partner in adventure.

I told you not to mess with nature, not to play God. I told you dinosaurs were dead for a reason. Frog DNA? What were you thinking? That stupid park. We had to run for our lives and raptors learned how to use doors and a T-Rex almost ate me. And you - you sitting there drinking Mai Tais in a lawn chair and laughing, laughing away. I didn't have a helicopter, but I lived with those beasts for years and I've finally devised a computer out of some coconuts and raptor hide and mark my works, Hammond, I'm coming for you.

Wait, this isn't [livejournal.com profile] jurassic_hammond.

Remember that time in the labyrinths under Moscow? Entirely too many skulls down by the Neglinka. That was pretty scay, let's not do that again. I don't care if the pictures didn't turn out.

No more White Nights? Well, it's probably for the best. And we'll always have Paris.
